Karyn White Set To Make Comeback After 17 Years!

The original Superwoman herself is set to make a comeback in the world of R&B! That's right, Karyn White left the music scene over 17 years ago when her daughter was born. She is now returning to her musical roots since her daughter has now entered college! Karyn recently discussed her past, present, and future stating:

"It was just really hard for me to split myself and be a mother...for me! I mean some people do it, but this industry requires so much from you. I was at that point where they wanted me to go to that next level, so it was a bit of a sacrifice for me. I didn’t realize this would all help me in the end. Because in today’s world being a brand is everything like with the reality shows!"

White has a new single called Sista, Sista. Check it out below. Her new album entitled, Carpe Diem, is scheduled for release in 2012. We can't wait!
