Kanye West Sued by Photographer for Assault

The paparazzo who tussled with Kanye West now wants his day in court.

TMZ reports that photographer Daniel Ramos claims the superstar rapper-producer assaulted him to the point he was left on crutches and, as a result, has filed an official lawsuit.

Ramos appeared with his lawyer, Gloria Allred, at a news conference today to address the suit. Allred said the lawsuit against 'Ye includes allegations of assault, battery and interference with Ramos' right to free speech.

The photographer claims he spent two weeks on crutches after the attack outside LAX airport and is in pain still. The throwdown in question took place on July 19, when West attacked Ramos for talking to him while attempting to take a photo. The ‘Throne’ rapper was seen putting Ramos in a headlock.

West isn't angry at all paparazzi though. Just yesterday, Kanye gave photogs an unexpected gift when they approached him in Los Angeles. There is footage of the rapper flashing a cameraman with a smile.
