It looks like the Star Wars-themed homes that Kanye West is reportedly building are going full steam ahead.

After a Forbes interview was published earlier this month that said 'Ye was constructing low-income homes inspired by the architecture of houses in the fictional Star Wars city of Tatooine, the first images of the prototypes have been revealed. TMZ shared the photo on Wednesday (July 31) and said that the rapper believes these homes will "break the barriers that separate classes."

The homes are being built on 300 acres of land in Calabasas, Calif. that Kanye bought a few years back, and he plans to create an entire housing community. Each dome-shaped home stands around 50 feet high, and visitors to the site have said the proportions "feel otherworldly." The project is still in its early stages, but 'Ye and his team are studying homes "from every period of man's existence on earth" to use as inspiration to what they say will be "dynamic" living spaces.

In related news, Kanye was the only rapper to land in the top 10 of Forbes' annual highest-paid celebrities list this year. He came in at No. 3 after bringing in $150 million in the last 12 months, thanks in large part to his Yeezy sneakers line with Adidas. Sounds like he's doing pretty G.O.O.D.
