Johnny Football Will Be the Backup at Start of Preseason

Johnny Manziel took reps on Monday with the first team and watched Brian Hoyer do the same on Tuesday, but Coach Mike Pettine named Hoyer the starter for the first preseason game this Saturday against the Detroit Lions.

So Manziel will play a backup for now, but will it last?
