As a player, Joe Dumars won back to back NBA titles with the Detroit Pistons in 1989 and 1990.

Then Dumars became President of Basketball Operations and led the team to two trips the finals and a title in 2004 over the Los Angeles Lakers. But after recent years of non-playoff appearance (the last in 2008-09) and many personnel changes, Dumars is set to resign from the Pistons front office after this season.
