As expected, the New Orleans Saints will put their franchise tag on tight end (or could be considered a wideout) Jimmy Graham.

The "franchise tag" is a one-year deal that keeps a player with an NFL team with a max salary -- often reserved for a team's best players.

Graham is expected to receive about $10 million this season, making him the highest-paid tight end in NFL history.
