Jill Scott has filed for divorce and it’s already getting messy. On the same day she filed for separation, the Grammy-winning singer also got a restraining order against her soon-to-be ex-husband Mike Dobson, according to Bossip.

Under the order, neither Jill nor Dobson can threaten, stalk or harass each other or say disparaging things in front of their children. In addition, the couple cannot destroy or hide any hard drives or computers or hide assets that were accumulated during the marriage.

The order reportedly also states that Jill and Dobson can’t excessively spend money without the court’s permission and must provide receipts for every purchase upon request.

As we previously reported, Scott filed for divorce on Sept. 5 after only 14 months of marriage to Dobson who has five children from a previous relationship.

The 45-year-old singer cited “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper” which can refer to offenses ranging from infidelity and verbal or physical abuse to cruel treatment and sexual impropriety. Scott says she has a prenuptial agreement with Dobson and has asked the court to enforce it.

Meanwhile, Dobson told Bossip that he was “blindsided” by Scott’s divorce filing, but acknowledged that they have agreed to separate but continue to work on their marriage.

“She’s an evil woman, I’m telling you," he said. "It’s like what Jill Scott wants, Jill Scott gets. People are in her ear, and if someone comes in to challenge the dumb shit, they made me be the bad guy and that got me outta there.”

"She’s got issues," he added. "There’s no men in that family, there’s only women. And when a man comes in, it’s like a challenge. She’s made other men look bad, but I’m not the one. She likes to have men that she can control. You’re not gonna control me. What’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong."

Jill Scott has not publicly commented about her divorce.
