Jennifer Lopez is one of the hottest and most fit 45-year-old working moms in the game. So it’s no surprise Self Magazine chose the singer to grace the cover of the January 2015 issue.

Besides showing off her amazing figure JLo, who is currently single and on the market, kicks off the new year issue opening up about her dislike for the word “cougar,” dating and being a self-proclaimed "love addict."

Jenny from the Block has always been known for dating younger men. Besides three husbands and a memorable engagement to actor Ben Affleck, she was most recently involved with her former back-up dancer Casper Smart, who's 27. Lopez isn't fond of the double standards when it comes to ladies who choose to be with men of a considerably younger age.

"Enough with the clichés about women," the icon states. "We can date younger guys. It's no big deal. Enough already. We're in the other position now. We are desirable older, we can date younger guys and it's not this big taboo. Men have been doing this for years, and it's no big deal."

For Lopez, being in a relationship and building with someone is important. "Some go out and party and sleep around, but that's just not my way. I found the comfort in someone else. That's called being a love addict."

Not only does she have experience dealing with love in her personal life, but JLo's love life has also played out on the big screen. She is preparing to star in ‘The Boy Next Door,’ a drama about a married teacher who falls in love with a younger neighbor.  She executive produced the film and says she relates to the role.

"I can relate. I've been through divorce. I've been cheated on, just like every other girl in the world. So you sympathize, you understand the emotions. And I've dated a younger guy once in my life, so I could definitely understand that part, too -- the attraction."
