This September will see the release of the brand new Jason Derulo album titled 'Tattoos.' The singer, songwriter, dancer and BF of Jordin Sparks injured his neck while preparing for his 'Future History' tour, sidelining promotion of that album.

One might say Derulo was derailed in January 2012, when the accident happened. But he is back and ready to leave a permanent mark with his new music!

In addition to preparing to release his latest platter, 'The Other Side' singer joined fellow vocalist Jennifer Hudson and actors Amy Poehler, Michael Cera and other artists, writers and producers at the White House for a meeting with President Obama and his staff as part of an initiative to help inform young people about the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

Since Derulo fractured a vertebra in his neck during his tour preparations, he was able to explain how his life and his livelihood were spared because he had health coverage, furthering the notion that this program is essential for Americans.

JD tweeted: "Had 2 put finishing album on pause 2day 4 a really important mission with the man himself! #obamacare…"

He also tweeted: "I told him about my neck injury he told me about his mother.. We all need Obamacare."

Check out his photos from the visit to see the Commander-in-Chief.

Here's JD all snazzy and at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

What a handsome devil!

He shared this promo hat pic, writing: "Tattoos! I have four more days to finish my best work to date. #3rdalbum."

In other Derulo news, he has dropped his new U.K. single, the clubby 'Talk Dirty,' on which 2 Chainz spits a verse. "I'm really excited about the single. It has a feature and I've never done that before," Derulo said. "It's just a shocking song. When you hear it, you'll know what I'm talking about. People will be thinking 'Hmm, really?!' It's very out there, but it was so fun."

Expect a video in early August and listen to the track below. It's certainly grittier and sexier than his ode to love known as 'The Other Side.' He's a nasty boy.
