Jamie Foxx to Star in ‘Annie” This Christmas [VIDEO]

Annie is hands-down one of my favorite movies of all time. When I heard that Will and Jada Smith and Jay Z would produce a new version of it, I was a little uneasy about it. It's a classic, and you just don't touch classics. But the new trailer has changed my mind.

Jamie Foxx stars as an updated Daddy Warbucks, going by the name of Will Warbucks. Originally, Willow Smith was to play the lead role of Annie, but she turned the role down and Oscar nominee Quvenzhane Wallis took the lead. The cruel and mean orphanage owner where Annie lives is played by Cameron Diaz.

I have not been this excited about a movie coming out in a long time. Sony Pictures will release Annie on Dec. 19. You can check out a preview now!
