Jamal Mashburn Sued Following Automobile Accident

You may remember Jamal Mashburn as a former NBA player. Last February he was involved in a pretty serious car accident that left two other motorists in bad shape.

He is now in court over the whole situation.  The lawsuit was filed in Florida and one of the persons who was hurt in the wreck is suing for being "physically scarred and disfigured."

According to TMZ, Mashburn's defense is is that the other driver was using a cell phone when the incident concern. For this reason he believes be is not responsible for the damages, and the other two people weren't wearing seat belts.

Marshburn also has his doubts that the injuries are as extreme as they are claiming. He is being sued for $15,000.
