Well it's (temporarily) official! Pancakes meet...burgers?

International House of Pancakes (IHOP) changed its name to International House of Burgers (IHOb), and honestly I’m torn about the name change.

The restaurant chain hinted the name change last week, even playing guessing games on Twitter as to what the ‘B’ would stand for, and most people voted for bacon!

Now before we get all in our feelings, WFAA is reporting that the change is only temporary to promote a new line of Ultimate Steak Burgers.

Chief Marketing Officer Brad Haley spoke about the name change on the company’s website:

Everyone knows that IHOP makes world-famous pancakes so we felt like the best way to convince them that we are as serious about our new line of Ultimate Steak burgers as we are about our pancakes, was to change our name to IHOb.

The burgers will cost about $6.95, and it comes with unlimited fries and a drink. With a deal like that, it's hard to pass up!

I'll see you at a IHOP, uhh, IHOb near you!
