When I was growing up I always imagined life as an adult and moving out of my parent’s home.  However, when it comes to certain household’s a child tend to stay at their parent’s home longer than expected and tend to wear out their welcome.

From USA Today 30-year old Michael Rotondo was ordered to move out of his parents’ home in upstate New York on Tuesday (May 22nd).  His parents gave him five notices since February that he had to vacate the residence and even offered him over $1,000 and advice to help him find his own place, but refused to move.

He pleaded his case before the judge that he is owed a six month notice and claimed he moved back into his parent’s home for the past 8 years after he lost his job and never expected to help out with house hold expenses and chores.

Judge Donald Greenwood wasn't too sympathetic as he had some stern words for Michael as he issued his verdict.

There are jobs available even for those with a poor work history like you. Get one.

Disappointed with the decision Michael said he plans to appeal the verdict.
