As Black History Month comes to a close it's stories like this that brings a big smile to my face as I'm a frequent traveler and wine lover.

According to the Delta Airlines, the company has partnered with the first and only black-owned winery to host an in-flight wine tasting for Black History Month.  They celebrated the partnership by hosting a surprise wine testing on a flight from San Francisco to New York on Tuesday (February 26th).

Brown Estate Wines will be served on select Delta flights, which is an idea that a Black Delta employee came up with and their wines will be featured on domestic Delta One wine menus for the winter 2019-202 calendar.

Deneen Brown President of Brown Estate shared her excitement of the partnership,

We are delighted to partner with Delta Air Lines.  Delta's all-in commitments to the spirit of inclusion and to their wine program are perfectly aligned with our core values at Brown Estate.

Their wine list will include Brown Estate's 2017 Betelgeuse Sauvignon Blanc and 2017 Chaos Theory Red Blend.
