Being a single guy has it's perks especially around Valentine's day!

As we are days away from celebrating a weekend of "love" I am thinking about how much money I'll be saving from not making restaurant reservations, buying flowers, and candy which will be in high demand.

Did you know in 2019, the average American between 35-44 has spent about $279 on Valentine's Day while ages 25-34 spent $239 per Business Insider.

We all know money will not be a problem for Valentine's Day, but if you are trying to save a few dollars I have the perfect option for you.

Brace yourself because you might not like what I'm about to say.

Celebrate Valentine's Day on.......February 15th!

CUES DRAMA BUTTON!

Now before you start giving me the ULTIMATE side eye you can save A LOT of money by celebrating on the 15th and of course for obvious reasons.

Do you know how much Valentine's Day stuff you can rack up on the 15th?  Mainly because companies are trying to sell the remaining stock at a discount price which could make it a lot easier on your wallet.

This year alone about 51% of the American people are planning on celebrating Valentine's Day and the average amount of money that will be spent is $160 so why not go all out and more bang for your buck by waiting on the 15th!

Besides isn't everyday Valentine's Day?

Seems like 'sidepieces' day will have to move to February 13th.
