Handwritten wills of the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin were discovered in her home which could spark a dispute between her family members.

According to the Associated Press, Sabrina Owens, Franklin's niece and personal representative of her estate has reportedly found handwritten wills from the late singer.

The wills were filed in the probate court of Oakland County, Michigan on Monday (May 20th) and apparently the wills (3 all together) were discovered after Owens found a key to a locked cabinet.

Owens released a statement saying she will remain neutral and hope all family members involved would make a conscience choice on behalf of their mother, her rich legacy, the family and the Aretha Franklin estate.

Aretha Franklin died at the age of 76 last August in Michigan.
