Greg Maddux, who won four Cy Young awards, and Tom Glavine, who had two of his own, were teammates on the Atlanta Braves in the 1990s and dominated the National League most of that time.

Now the two are leading candidates for the class of 2014 for the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Slugger Frank Thomas, who played with the Chicago White Sox and won two MVP awards is also on the ballot, which include 36 players.

The final vote will be Dec. 31 and the winners will be announced Jan. 8, 2014.
