Greenleaf on the OWN Network is one of the most popular shows on television today and tonight it returns for a two-night premier and there is no one better to give a let us know the shocking conclusion to what happens to Robert "Mac" McCready than the man himself Gregory Alan Williams.

Double Emmy Award Winning Actor, Critically Acclaimed Author, Respected Educator, Prolific Speaker, and Master Story Teller Gregory Alan Williams checks into the Shawn Knight Show to talk about the second half of the hit TV series and I joked with him about being the most hated man on television.

His character plays an ephebophile which is an adult who is sexually attracted to adolescents and I asked him what is it like to play that character and is it your most challenging role?

Williams said,

I felt that this role was for me.  It's a dark role and it was very much a challenge so I took this character and brought it to life for a couple of reasons.  First, I'm an artist and I like to take on a challenge and second Oprah Winfrey and the executive producers wanted to make clear to the audience that sexual abusers are seducers.  They aren't just snatching kids and putting them in the back cars and into the woods these people are in our midst.

We also talked about his new upcoming movie A Question of Faith where he stars along side Actress Kim Fields and Richard T. Jones coming out September 29th and his new audio book called Heart of a Woman which he self narrates.

You can check out the first of the two part series of Greenleaf tonight and tomorrow 10p/9central on the OWN Network.
