It wasn't long ago that actress Daryl Hannah was arrested during a pipeline protest in East Texas, and now Green Party Presidential Candidate, Dr. Jill Stein, has been arrested at a similar event.

Stein was arrested Wednesday morning in Wood County for criminal trespassing, according to the Wood County Sheriff's Office. That's a misdemeanor offense.

Dr. Stein was arrested after taking food and supplies to some activists who had gathered in Wood county in protest of the Keystone XL pipeline, according to her website. The website also says she was joined by seven others, and they were delivering fresh fruits and vegetables, canned proteins, trail mix, and Halloween candy. She says they weren't warned of "imminent arrests and the arresting officers did not self-identify as police."

The pipeline would run through eastern Wood and Smith counties, northeast and southeast corners of Cherokee County and western Nacogdoches County. It would run east of cities including Winnsboro, Hawkins, Winona, New Chapel Hill, Arp, New Summerfield, Reklaw and Wells.
