A former Smith County Sheriff is the star of a new Investigation Discovery channel show! “Lone Star Justice” premiered tonight on the ID Channel (one of my favs). Sheriff J.B. Smith, along with detectives Pamela Dunklin and Joe Rasco, kicked off the six-episode series with the first episode, “She Had Everything.”

Amanda Anderson was a 19-year-old student at Tyler Junior College in 2010 when she was found dead by her younger brother in her family’s home near New Chapel Hill. Anderson had been shot in the head four times and the Smith County Sheriff’s Office began investigating her death.

Lone Star Justice airs at at 9 pm Central on Wednesdays. There will be six episodes on Investigation Discovery.
