Floyd Mayweather Gets Paid With Handwritten $40 Million Check After Fight
Now this is a payday! What happens when you take part in the highest-paying boxing match in history? You get paid like this.
A photo came out this week of the check -- yes, the handwritten check -- that was given to Floyd Mayweather after his fight with Canelo Alvarez last Saturday.
As you can tell, "Money" Mayweather received a check for $40,870,000 from Golden Boy Promotions (Oscar De La Hoya) after his win, which already was the highest-selling pay-per-view show of all-time at $2.2 million.
What does Floyd do with a regular ol' check? Does he go inside the bank, or is this something you can take through the drive-thru?
