Fabolous has reportedly copped a plea deal in his domestic violence case, and he's apparently avoided jail time in the process.

According to a report Bossip published Tuesday afternoon (March 5), the Brooklyn rapper pleaded guilty to one count of harassment for threatening the mother of his children, former Love & Hip Hop star, Emily Bustamante, and her father. Fabolous’ attorney, Brian Neary, told TMZ that the charges will be expunged from his criminal record as long as he completes a pretrial intervention program for one year.

Fabolous was initially facing 20 years in prison if the case went to trial. The rap veteran is accused of punching Emily during a domestic dispute. He reportedly punched her so hard that her front teeth had to be removed. Police believe Fabolous became enraged after finding out about a trip Emily took to Los Angeles and sent her threatening texts before the alleged assault. From there, Emily allegedly responded by asking her father and brother to go to the couple's home and remove two firearms. Fab later arrived at the home, and that's when this altercation reportedly happened.

Days after the incident, a video of Fabolous threatening both Emily and her father while brandishing a sharp object surfaced. In October of 2018, a grand jury indicted Fabolous on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill and one count of weapon possession.

XXL has contacted Fabolous' team for comment.
