Tragedy strikes the Steve Harvey Morning Show as an employee of the show was found unresponsive in his hotel room by a member of the show.

TMZ report, police were called the “W” Hotel in Atlanta on Sunday (May 27th) where they found the body of Bryan Cooke, with blood and vomit coming out of his mouth.  Cooke was the assistant of Keir Spates who is known as “Junior” on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

Spates reached out to hotel staff to do a wellness check after Cooke didn’t respond.  When they found, him he was lying face down in his bed, and cold to the touch.  The two were supposed to fly out to L.A. later that afternoon.

Authorities found prescription drugs in his room, but it is unclear if it played any part in the role of his death.  House cleaning also cleaned his room while he was in there, but they thought he was asleep.

He was described as “best friends” according to Spates and our thoughts and prayers go out to Junior and Cooke’s family.
