The NBA announced today to no one's surprise that Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is the 2013-2014 MVP, edging out LeBron James in another tight race.

Durant averaged 32 points,7.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists to seal his first ever MVP award and had the third longest streak of 25 or more points in NBA history (41 games).

Now, he'll see if the Thunder can overcome a 0-1 deficit in the playoffs to the Los Angeles Clippers.
