Only in Florida, right? Man arrested for drinking while driving claims he wasn't drinking while driving.

Let me give you some facts about this arrest.

local10.com reports that a woman called 911 because a vehicle tapped her bumper repeatably in a McDonald's drive thru.

Police arrived and approached the driver, Earle Gustavas Stevens of Vero Beach, Florida, and could smell alcohol and he was slurring his words.

A bottle of Jim Beam bourbon was in the passenger seat of Stevens' car.

When asked if he had been drinking while driving, Stevens responded, "No." He had only been drinking while stopped at traffic signals or stop signs.

Stevens was arrested and charged with drunk driving and also driving without a license.

Good luck Earle in defending this case.
