Drunk Man Calls 911 to Check the Status of His Tax Return

When a man wants his tax return bad enough, he'll do whatever he has to so he gets it.

Especially when he's drunk.

James Mahoney, 51, was apparently drunk enough to call 911 and told the dispatcher he was "messed up." When police arrived at his house, he was still on the phone with the dispatcher.

He apparently told police he wanted to check the status of his income tax return when they asked him why he called 911.

Mahoney was arrested and charged with making a false 911 call. He was sentenced to two days in jail and was fined $450.

Well, now we know what he's going to use that tax return for, right?
