Millions upon millions of twinkling Christmas lights are scattered throughout the East Texas landscape during this festive time of the year. There's a huge concentration of lights that twinkle and shine upon decorations at the many drive-thru light parks in East Texas. Heading to one of these drive-thru parks will definitely put you in the holiday spirit. These parks are filled with lights, animations, decorations, music and holiday cheer.

Share this special time of the year with your family and while you're in the middle of them you could be sipping on a warm cup of hot chocolate while eating ginger bread men singing along to the carols being played in the park or on your radio!

  • Santa Land

    11455 I-20 West

    Santa Land is billed as the original drive thru Christmas theme park in Texas. This facility features 2.5 million lights spread out through 24 acres of East Texas country side. The trail is lined with twinkling lights and animated displays. You can ride on Santa's Trailer or drive in the comfort of you own car or truck.

    Santa Land is open nightly at 6:00p.m. to 10:30 p.m. from November to January 4th including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. There is an admission charge per vehicle up to 15 people. Please check the website for additional fees.

  • Up In Lights

    CR 192/Old Noonday Rd.

    Celebrate the holidays with your family at Up In Lights, Tyler's only drive thru light park! This drive thru park features lighted scenes and over 1 million lights for you to gaze at! While driving thru this park in the comfort of your own car you can listen to Christmas music on your radio and watch the lights dance to music!

    Up In Lights opens at 6p.m. each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 28th - December 14th and then nightly from December 19th - 27th. There is an admission charge but you can save some money with a canned good to benefit PATH.

  • Christmas Park - Land Of Lights

    Snoopy flying an airplane, reindeer in a snowball fight and a light tunnels that will amaze you! All that and more can be found at the Christmas Park - Land Of Lights in Athens. Each year the Christmas light park adds new scenes and lights. They have many scenes that depict favorites from your past, including Humpty Dumpty, Charlie Brown and even greats like Elvis Presley!

    Christmas Park - Land Of Lights is open nightly from 6p.m. - 10:30p.m. November 10th thru January 2nd. There is an admission charge per vehicle.

  • Wonderland Of Lights

    Downtown Marshall

    It's a Texas tradition that's been happening for more than a quarter of a century. Marshall's town square is illuminated with over a million lights during this 40-night festival of lights. It's more than lights though! There's also an ice skating rink, rides in horse drawn carriages, kids can visit Santa's workshop, balloon artists and face painting for kids along with live entertainment. Check the website for a complete schedule of events for Wonderland Of Lights in Marshall. The highlight of the event is the Harrison County Courthouse!

    Marshall's Wonderland of Lights runs nightly November 26th thru December 31st with a New Year's Eve celebration. There is a charge for some activities, including ice skating (please check website for pricing).
