For a hopping good time, join the Tyler Parks and Recreation’s 15th Annual Twilight Easter Egg Hunt Thursday, March 24 at Lindsey Park located at 1255 Spur 364 W.

No this is not an Easter Egg Hunt with vampires.

The event kicks off at 6:15 p.m., starting with entertainment and concluding with Easter egg hunts on the softball fields. The egg hunts are divided into four groups: children with special needs at 6:45 p.m.; children ages 3 to 5 at 7 p.m., ages 6 to 8 at 7:20 p.m. and ages 9 to 10 at 7:45 p.m. Only one group at a time will hunt.

Parents are not allowed on the field during hunt time, except during the special needs group time slot. Should the fields be too dark to hunt for eggs, the park lights will be used to illuminate the fields.

Admission is free, but children should bring their own Easter baskets. The entertainment includes an appearance by the Easter Bunny so bring your cameras to capture the moment. There will also be face painters, clowns, balloon artists, a bounce house and much more. Concessions will be available for a fee.
