A documentary on Quincy Jones, directed by his daughter Rashida Jones, is coming to Netflix.

According to Complex via Deadline, the doc -- which is titled Quincy, will be released on the streaming service this fall, but will also have a limited theatrical release.

The documentary will take an intimate look into the life of the musical icon that has been a force in music working with legends like Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, and Count Basie.

Rashida spoke of her father and said,

It’s rare that somebody who has lived as much life as my dad is still interested in growing and knowing the next generation. He is such a man of action and accomplishments, but we were so lucky to spend real time with him, to let him reflect on life and the larger picture.

The documentary Quincy will hit Netflix on September 21st.
