Here we go again. After being arrested last month in New York City before a concert at Radio City Music Hall, DMX is back in the slammer.

According to Buffalo's news station WIVB, the platinum-selling rapper has started serving a six-month stint in Buffalo, N.Y. X's new home for the remainder of 2015 will be at Erie County Holding Center. The location is described as a "pretrial, maximum security detention facility."

X's sentence was handed down by Family Court Judge Deanne Trippi for his failure to comply with a previous court order, which stemmed from him not paying child support. On June 26, DMX was arrested for skipping out on $400,000 worth of child support. During his arrest, the "Lord Give Me a Sign" MC was also served warrants from the city of White Plains, N.Y. for jumping bail and a robbery complaint from Newark, N.J. He was accused of robbing a 21-year-old man at a gas station. Those charges have been dropped.

While those charges were dismissed, in the eyes of many, he was guilty due to his past legal woes, which further exacerbated X's already tarnished reputation. It's sad to see DMX's legacy continue to be bombarded with negativity. Even though this seems to be a continuous issue in his life, hopefully, X can do his time, get out and stay out for good.
