Diana Ross Talks New Album With Mark Ronson As Producer
"The Boss" Diana Ross last studio album was released in 2006, but now the 75-year-old music icon is set to go in the studio to remind her fans and new generation how it's done!
According to Billboard, on Monday (June 24th) Ross was doing a Q&A session during the TD Toronto Jazz Festival concert and told the crowd some info about her new album.
I'm getting ready to go in the studio and do another album and I want to do songs from where I am at, at this point in time in my life because I feel so incredibly grateful and appreciative of you. . . I don't want to sing the blues. I want to sing songs that really speak to. . . my life, and optimism, and positive!
She also talked about her she met a wonderful producer to help along with the project.
So I met with this really incredible producer. His name is Mark Ronson. And he is such a doll. He's so humble.
Ronson is no stranger to the music industry know for working with Bruno Mars, Adele, and even Paul McCartney.
"The Boss" has a long list of accolades! She has five decades of music sold over 100 million albums worldwide, 18 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just for starters.
I'm looking forward to the new project.
