Detroit Lions Receiver Nate Burleson Wrecks While Trying to Save Pizza

Keep your eyes on the road. It's been a lesson taught in Driver's Ed and everyday transport. And it looks like Nate Burleson missed that day in class.

After Monday night's football game, Detroit Lions wideout Nate Burleson had a freak accident in his 2009 GMC Yukon. Burleson was leaving a viewing party for the game and was traveling on I-696 in the Detroit area.

A pizza box started to slide out of the front passenger seat, and while trying to retrieve it,he ran into a wall median, breaking his arm in two places and putting him out of action indefinitely.

The Lions report there is no timetable for Burleson's return, although they do expect him back some time this season.
