Day 7 Of A Healthier Shawn Knight
Last week I made a decision that I was going to start living a healthier life style after a recent visit to the doctor and I must say I am very proud of my progress after committing to a 10 day detox.
I recently picked up this book from J.J. Smith '10-Day Green Smoothie Cleanse' and after being skeptic of the cleanse I decided to give it a try and I have to admit that I was rather shocked by the great tasting recipes, but also the pounds that started to come off.
The smoothie I had today was Pineapple Berry and ingredients where the following:
2 handfuls of spring mix greens
2 handfuls of spinach
1 banana, peeled
1 1⁄2 cups of pineapple chunks
1 1⁄2 cups of frozen mango chunks
1 cup of frozen mixed berries
3 packets of Stevia
2 cups of water
2 tablespoons of ground flax seeds
OPTIONAL: 1 scoop of protein powder
The smoothie was very good and I had fruit and veggies to curb my appetite whenever I felt hungry.
If you are thinking about living a healthier lifestyle like me I suggest picking up her book because it actually does work!
