David and Tamela Mann Move to TVOne

TVOne’s new show, “The Manns” will highlight the funny and loving married couple of 29 years David and Tamela Mann along with their four adult children, eight grandchildren, family and friends.   This show is full of entertainment that keeps this family on their toes as they balance music, touring, filming and keeping their family in order, allows the television viewers a glimpse into their challenges, and successes of their personal lives.

This afternoon David and Tamela checked into the Shawn Knight Show to talk about the premier episode as grief comes into Tamela’s life as her beloved puppy dies.  The family decides to make her feel better by getting a replacement dog.  David puts the family through funny and grueling tests in order to conquer their fears i.e. Eating bugs, walking on fire, to even dealing with small confined places  (Sounds like an episode of Fear Factor).

The couple also talked about the keys to their successful 29-year marriage, how working together helped their relationship and Tamela performing at the Grammy’s with Chance the Rapper, winning a Grammy, to winning an astounding 6 Stellar Awards and preformed with Kirk Franklin.
