D’Antoni Resign as Lakers Coach

After a 27-55 record and much speculation,Los Angeles Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni

resigned.D'Antoni spend two seasons with the Lakers going 67-87 and had one more

year on his contract with a year option in 2015-2016.The Lakers chose not to pick up the

option and D'Antoni resigned.He also did coaching stints in Denver,Phoenix and New

York,before his tenure with Lakers.
