Decadent dessert from a crock pot? Yes you can! Check out this delicious recipe for warm, moist, chocolate mud-cake. This is a true chocolate-lover's dream, and sure to make you the talk of the party!

You Will Need:

1 c. all-purpose flour
2 ts. baking powder
6 tbs. butter
2 oz. semisweet chocolate
1 cup sugar, divided
3 tbs. plus-processed cocoa powder
1/3 cup dutch-processed cocoa powder
1 tbs. vanilla extract
1/4 ts. sea salt
1/3 c. milk
1 egg yolk
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. hot water
Directions:

Before you do anything, please be sure to thoroughly coat the inside of your crock pot with cooking spray.

Gently whisk together the flour and baking powder in a medium bowl and set aside. Melt butter and chocolate in large microwavable bowl an stir. Next, gently combine sugar, cocoa, vanilla, salt, milk, and egg yolk. Then, combine with you flour and baking powder mixture and mix thoroughly. (Batter may be slightly lumpy. Try to smooth, but don't overwork batter!)

Pour mixture into your crock pot and smooth out.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining sugar, cocoa and hot water until the sugar is dissolved.

Pour the mixture over the batter in the slow cooker.

Cover batter and cook on HIGH heat for 1-2 1/2 hours. Watch for rising.

This cake will be moist and wobbly. It's done when the sides of cake come apart from the crock pot.

When done, allow to cook for half an hour, and carefully remove from pot.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream and cherries!
