Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green are just two of the names attached to the Michael Jackson tribute taking place in Wales on October 8.

‘The Voice‘ coaches will be joining British ‘X Factor’ winner Leona Lewis, R&B singer Craig David, Motown legend Smokey Robinson, and rockers Alien Ant Farm, whose cover of Jackson’s ‘Smooth Criminal‘ made it to number one on the US Modern Rock charts. More artists will be added to the lineup and announced closer to the date.

While Jackson’s mother, Katherine, is working closely with the organizers of the event, not everyone in the family supports the concert.

In July, Jermaine and Randy Jackson released a statement saying the concert was “inappropriate” and “ill-timed.” The tribute is scheduled to  take place two weeks into the criminal trial of Conrad Murray, the doctor charged with involuntary manslaughter in relation to the Jackson’s death.

Jackson died on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. The involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Murray is expected to last four to six weeks.
