Chargers Upset the Broncos on Thursday Night Football

In an AFC West showdown, the San Diego Chargers went into Sports Authority Stadium and did the improbable by defeating the Denver Broncos, 27-20, on Thursday night.

Phillip Rivers went 12-of-26 on the night and the Chargers held the Broncos to 20 points, their lowest total of the year and 20 points below their league leading average.

The Broncos are 11-3 while San Diego is 7-7 and is still fighting for a Wild Card spot.
