Cell Phone Footage Of Sandra Bland’s Arrest Spark New Questions
It has been nearly 4 years since the death of Sandra Bland and while we still mourn and #SayHerName a new cell phone video of her arrest sparks new questions on what actually happened the day she was arrested.
According to CBS News, a new 39 second clip of her arrest it shows Brian Encinia who is a white state trooper approaching Bland with a stun gun pointed at her yelling at her to get out the car.
Get out of the car! I will light you up! Get out!
Bland complies and continue to record until she was told her to get off the phone and she implies she isn't on the phone she has a right to record and it's her property.
Sandra's family wants Texas officials to re-open the case and their attorney Cannon Lambert never saw the clip.
Presidential Candidate Beto O'Rourke from El Paso wants the case to be re-opened immediately stating there should be full accountability and justice.
Sandra was found hanging in a jail cell right outside of Houston in July of 2015.
We will continue to #SayHerName until justice is served.
