Catholic League President Thinks Nicki Minaj May Be Possessed

If Nicki Minaj was hoping to create controversy with her bizarre ‘Exorcist’-themed performance on last Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, she sure got it. In fact, the president of the Catholic League has stated that Minaj may actually be possessed. (Check out the performance below.) 

First, Minaj appeared on the red carpet with a sidekick dressed like the Pope. Later, she launched into a performance of ‘Roman Holiday’ complete with a confessional, dancing monks and a levitation seemingly brought on by evil spirits.

Bill Donohue of the Catholic League scolded the Recording Academy for allowing such a blasphemous display and wondered if Minaj herself was under the influence of a demon.

None of this was by accident, and all of it was approved by the Recording Academy, which puts on the Grammys,” he said. “Whether Minaj is possessed is surely an open question, but what is not in doubt is the irresponsibility of the Recording Academy.”
