East Texas Man Convicted of Trying to Sell Stolen Marijuana

Roderrete Dewayne McClure, 43, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute marijuana in a Tyler court Monday and has been sentenced to five years in federal prison.

McClure stole 100 pounds of marijuana from the Tenaha City Marshall's office in 2010 and attempted to sell it.

He did try to cover up the theft, by using fire starter logs to replace the stolen herb.
