With warmer weather approaching you will usually find kids outside selling lemonade to quench the thirst of potential consumers and to learn the value of a dollar.

However, because of not having a permit many lemonade stands were shut down until the Texas House of Representatives introduced a bill where kids could be protected from selling lemonade in the comfort of their backyard according to Fox News.

On Wednesday (March 20th), the Texas House of Representatives passed a bill that would legalize lemonade stands ran by kids.

The bill is being spearheaded by Rep. Matt Krause as he proclaimed this is a great day for our Texas entrepreneurs.

Yesterday was one small step for lemonade, today is one giant leap for young entrepreneurs.

Three years ago, police shut down a lemonade in Overton which were ran by sisters Zoey and Andria Green because they didn't have permits per the Tyler Morning Telegraph.

The bill now moves to the Senate for approval.
