A week after 2Pac’s BMW vehicle was placed on the auction block, Biggie’s green suburban SUV in which he was fatally shot in is now available for purchase, according to TMZ.

As you may know, Notorious B.I.G. was shot in March 1997 while he was sitting in his GMC Suburban vehicle in Los Angeles. Currently, auction house Moments in Time is selling the car for $1.5 million.

The owners of the vehicle say they purchased the vehicle in Oct. 1997 from a broker who bought it in an auction. The owners said that the broker never told them the vehicle was a part of hip-hop history. They found out in 2005 when a LAPD detective called them about the car in regards to a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Biggie’s mother Violette Wallace.

The SUV has 114,000 miles on it and has only one reminder of the fatal 1997 shooting - a bullet hole in the front passenger seat belt, where Biggie was sitting when the bullets started flying. Apparently, the SUV’s bullet-riddled door was replaced before the owners purchased it. According to the owners, the LAPD still have the door stored away in evidence.

The vehicle also comes with a certificate of authenticity, receipts and a letter from the owners seeking to sell the car.

Whoever gets to own 2Pac’s 1996 black BMW 750iL, this would be a worthy companion piece. A museum would be a good place to display both ‘Pac’s BMW and Biggie’s SUV.
