Last night, (June 14) Beyoncé capped off the North American leg of her Formation tour with a tribute song dedicated to the victims of the Orlando club shooting.

During the Detroit show Tuesday night (June 14), Beyoncé paused to remind the audience of love. She closed the show with her 2008 hit “Halo,” as she has done every night on tour.

Last night, Bey made it a priority to dedicate ‘Halo’ in the same regard. The Queen gracefully sent her condolences to the families of the victims of the Orlando tragedy announcing, “This next song is about love, and I’d like to dedicate it to all the family members of those who lost their lives in Florida.” The snippet was captured by fans and posted to twitter.

Her June 7th show at Citi felid in Brooklyn closed with a dedication to Prince and a celebration of his life with purple confetti pouring from the sky. That show also happened to fall on the day of Prince’s birthday. Before her concert at Ford Field, Bey's Parkwood Entertainment presented the United Way of Genesee County with a check for $82,234 to aid Michigan residents who are still grappling with Flint’s tainted water supply.

The “Lemondae” queen has seven additional U.S. shows that will take place later this year. But in the meantime, the European leg of the Formation Tour will kick off on June 28 in Sunderland, England. Watch a snippet of Bey’s dedication via Twitter above.
