Beauty and the Box Expands with Keep Tyler Beautiful

Have you noticed the new artwork in Tyler wrapped around utility boxes. The award winning  project, Beauty and the Box is expanding!

The art designed by local artist, Valeria Barnhill, was chosen from approved artwork at Gallery Main Street by Keep Tyler Beautiful, who sponsored the boxes.

"The art on these utility boxes is fun and interesting,” said Keep Tyler Beautiful board chairman, Sarah Wruck. “It adds so much to the overall appeal of our community."

You can spot the new boxes, at the intersection of Independence Drive and Broadway, in front of the Broadway Square Mall, and at the intersection of University Boulevard and Old Omen Drive.
