After spending much of his 32 years of radio in the "country world," Kenny is back in his comfort zone on Classic Rock 96-1! Son of longtime DFW entertainer/author Annie Golightly, nephew to former US Congressman/WFAA Weatherman Dale Milford, Kenny grew up in Plano and Ft. Worth, and cut his teeth on the mic at Dan Rather's first station, KSAM in Huntsvillec Texas before landing in Tyler in January of 1989. When he isn't hanging out with his wife Margie in their Lindale log home, you can find him working in his shop, fishing, playing golf with his son Jason, or providing DJ services for any number of non-profit agencies that ask for his time. He has been providing music for United Way, ARC of Smith County, Special Olympics, Fun Lovers Special Needs Dances, and Camp Heyday/Camp Kennedy for over 25 years. When school is in session, Kenny juggles play-by-play/color duties for Whitehouse High School football, and UT TYLER basketball, and softball.
