I find that I'm looking for my sweatshirt a little bit more these days, which means Christmas is in the air. That means more food, family and beautiful light displays!

If you've already checked out all of our East Texas light displays mentioned above, maybe take the kids to Dallas Zoo this Christmas season for the first ever Dallas Zoo Lights.

GuideLive reports that for 33 nights, there will be nearly one million light bulbs lighting up the pathways throughout the 25-acre zoo. Light shows set to music, performances, sculptures and treats to keep you warm will all be part of the spectacle.

You can visit the zoo for nighttime only as the lights are on from 5-9 pm, or you can make an entire day out of it.

This Christmas special is open from November 17 to January 2 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. There are also select weeknights.
