$502 Mega Millions Jackpot Is The 4th Largest Jackpot In History

The excitement is in the air as for the fourth time in the Mega Millions history the jackpot rolls over to $500 million dollars.  The estimated jackpot for Friday’s drawing (March 30^th) is $502 million dollars after no winner was declared.

KSAT ABC 12 reports, the winning numbers for this past Tuesday’s drawing were 7, 25, 43, 56, and 59, with the Mega Ball number was 13.  The last time the jackpot grew this large was in July of 2016 where a single ticket in Indiana won the $536 million-dollar prize.

Mega Millions lead director Gordon Medenica said in a statement:

Jackpot rolls are always exciting, but surpassing the $500 million mark for only the fourth time is a historic milestone.  Large jackpots like this one capture everyone's attention, and it would be great to see the roll go on for a while longer. But at the same time, we can't wait to see someone win.

Friday’s drawing will take place at 10 p.m. CST and the odds of winning are 1 in 302 million.
