48 Percent of Texans Want the Border Wall

According to a new poll, 48 percent of Texans want Trump's border wall. Do you agree?

A recent University of Texas at Tyler opinion poll shows that 48 percent of registered voters in Texas "agreed" or "strongly agreed" that Trump's border wall is needed to make the border safe, according to TylerPaper.com. Forty-one percent of the 1,049 people polled either "disagreed" or "strongly disagreed" with the need for the wall. Eleven percent were neutral in the poll.

The poll also showed that Trump's approval rating is less than 50%.

“Our results find that the president’s approval rating now stands at 42 percent approval and 53 percent disapproval among registered voters,’’

said Dr. Mark Owens, assistant professor of political science.
