Free Unemployment Seminar Offered

Have you been affected by the recent downturn in the economy and are wondering what your options are now that you find yourself unemployed? A free seminar tomorrow (Thursday) could help provide some clarity.

Sponsored by Telco Plus Credit Union, "Now What? Job Loss Strategies" is a free seminar that will be held Thursday (April 14) at 6 p.m. at Hampton Inn on 3044 N. Eastman Rd. in Longview. The seminar will feature speakers from Ameriprise Financial, Copeland Insurance Group, Telco Plus Credit Union, and the Workforce Solutions East Texas.

The panel of experts will be provide tips and advice with topics ranging from how to file for unemployment, free services, interviewing tips, maintaining insurance coverage, budgets and expenses, how to handle creditors, and managing retirement funds.
